if you want to get to know amish people, is a very central location.

breakfast is not varied. there are no eggs or sausage.

most peaceful place in the world. Horse-drawn carriages pass by every minute. swimming pool and luxury playground for the child. Beautiful area. tourist attractions of the area are never more than 10 minutes away by car.

Maybe a little maintenance is missing, but I guess that's part of the rural charm.

Very convenient location to visit Lancaster County.

Good location in a quiet area in the middle of the Amish countryside and not far from the Bird-in-Hand farmer's market. The staff is friendly. There is no shortage of things to do and we have a lot of choice for breakfast.

furniture and decoration are not very recent but it didn't bother me much.

It's location and it is a older motel but its clealiness was fantastic.Liked it's small hometown feel-not a big generic motel hotel.

Good water pressure, with simple to operate shower controls. Quiet.

Room with King sized bed was not available upon arrival, despite reserving and paying for room with King sized bed. Upon asking, was told that their was a problem with the plumbing in the King-sized bed room, and was offered the choice between a room with 2 double beds, or a larger room with 2 Queen size beds. We felt the room with the double beds had better carpet, so that is what we took. We were not offered a discount for the King sized bed not being available.

Basic motel, very nice owners with a good price to value

Very Clean Room but old carpit. Bed was comfortable(King) Manegent was very helpful and kind. They seem to be doing the best they can.

Old musty smell in the ac and room. Bathroom way to small for us and had to step up in to it.

I recently stayed at Cherry lane. I have stayed at Cherry Lane in years passed, but stopped going when it went down hill. I stayed there this year and was glad to learn that it had been taken over by new owners last year. The turn around has been remarkable. The new owners have updated all the rooms, adding flat screen tvs, refrigerators, microwaves and hair dryers for the ladies. The rooms have all been repainted and are spotless. Its great for families, with a clean outdoor pool, and swing sets for the little ones. Its actually in the middle of Amish farmland, which means no main road traffic and noise. But is still 10 minutes from everything in Amish country.

Folks at the front desk were pleasant and accomodating. When you are away from home it is great to come in contact with nice people!

Beds could be a little softer.

The hotel is very outdated, although the room seemed clean. We were upstairs and the hallway was freezing, as was the room when we arrived. The owner were very nice, but I thing I'll look elsewhere next visit.

Staff was friendly. However, the room had extremely dated decor. Dark and dingy. Old sink, unable to regulate water or even shut off shower valve. Old sheets and blankets.
